It's all about damagecontrol... |
Dear FrienzL2 players,
We have been having a lot of trouble lately, as you could have read yesterday when DukeGr found out there were 3 russian individuals trying to exploit our web.
That's where I come in.
We tried to restore a database, thinking it might be a small bug in one of our php-files on the website. We thought wrong. Apart from these kids giving themselves items, they also went on a banspree, and they made some alternations to the database - resulting in direct instability of both the serverfiles and the database.
Therefor we have decided to AGAIN rollback (same backup as yesterday), making you lose hard work, time and effort.
IMPORTANT: CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS TO MAKE SURE YOUR ACCOUNT IS SAFE!

Server Security Problem |
There seems to be some russian guys that got bored lately and are trying to play around with us,as a result the x7 server has been rollbacked 2 days to ensure the security of everyones account.
It is advised to change your passwords asap so u wont have any risk in the future your accounts.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused,the server will be back online shortly.

Greetings,
Due to big upcoming updates FrienzL2 is recruiting staff, we are intrested to recruit in the following positions.
Here is a decent list :
2x Head Game Masters (both x7 and x30)
6x Game Masters (3 each server)
4x L2 Forum Moderators (2 for each server section.)
2x New Rank : L2 Legend (Ingame char with additional access for helping players in order to help GM work.) (1 each server)
P.S: Head Game Masters will be elected by GM votes in Weekly GM meeting after 1-2 Weeks of their recruit.

Clan Fixes/Max Member Problem |
I fixed several clans with problems on academy and mixed up members etc.
3 big clans Fearless,RussianBears and DarkArtsII got some members removed.
Max clan members you should have in your clan is approx 100,if you got more members make a second clan till we fix this issue.
Clan leaders of those 3 clans can email me about any questions they may have.
Also a minor problem with npc's has been fixed which caused npc respawning errors in some cases.

24/07/08 Updates |
*We have updated geodata and fixed several problems all over the place that got reported during these months,there are a few spots left but most problems should be fixed now.
*Several raid bosses that didnt work properly are fixed.
*High level skill fixes.
*C5/C6 Quest and NPC fixes.
*Heart Event enabled on all servers till August 10.
*Hellbound development started more info about this in the future.
There is a problem with 2 big clans RussianBears and DarkArtsII,there seems to be some overflow due to the large ammount of members in those clans.Leaders of those 2 clans are kindly requested to remove any non active members from their clan till Sunday 27 of July,if not their clans will get disbanded to ensure server stability.If clan leaders got any questions about this they can email me about it.
Thats all for now,remember to put suntan when you go to the beach,dont want to get any nasty burns with this weather.
